Tom Price

Tom Price is a seasoned data scientist with extensive experience in statistical genetics, bioinformatics, and software engineering. Currently serving as a Senior Data Scientist at Actio Biosciences, Inc. since May 2022, Tom has previously operated a consultancy under Tom Price LLC and worked as a software engineer for Chai Bio. Academic roles include Research Assistant Professor of Pharmacology at the Perelman School of Medicine and Lecturer in Statistical Genetics at King’s College London, where significant contributions to genome-wide association studies and statistical methodologies were made. Tom holds a Master’s Degree in Applied Statistics from the University of Oxford, a Ph.D. in Behavioural Genetics from King’s College London, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology/Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
