Mare Fort possesses extensive experience in leadership and strategic roles within the nonprofit sector, currently serving as Director of People and Strategy at Action Against Hunger | ACF-USA since July 2020. Prior to this position, Mare Fort dedicated over two decades to CARE, progressing through several roles including Strategic Senior Advisor, Vice President for People and Culture, Regional Director for Latin America and the Caribbean, and Senior Advisor for Global Talent Strategies. Earlier professional experience includes serving as Chief of the Planning Unit at CIPCA, focusing on project planning, monitoring, and evaluation. An academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Sociology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and a Master's degree in Development Economics and International Development from the International Institute of Social Studies.
