Farah Kabir

Farah Kabir serves as the Country Director for ActionAid Bangladesh since June 2007 and holds the position of Chair of the GNDR Global Board at the Global Network for Disaster Reduction since March 2015, after being elected in Sendai, Japan. Farah also acts as the Regional Representative for South Asia and is involved in the election process for GNDR’s Global Board. With nearly ten years of experience at the British Council in both Bangladesh and the UK, Farah has held roles such as Governance and Gender Adviser and Consultant for Participative Democracy. Farah holds a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Public Administration and multiple degrees in the field from the University of Dhaka.
