Shabbir Rahman

Shabbir Rahman is an experienced communications professional currently serving as the Communications Manager at ActionAid Bangladesh, responsible for overseeing national communications and managing the Rohingya Crisis Response. Previous roles include Team Leader for the Smart Bangladesh Summit 2023 at the ICT Division, Deputy Manager of Brand and Communications at Save the Children in Bangladesh, and Communications Officer at the United Nations, where Shabbir led digital communications and event management. With a background in photography and visual arts, including teaching at the Begart Institute and freelance work, Shabbir has successfully contributed to brand visibility and strategic communications across various organizations. Shabbir holds a Master's degree in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka and a Technical Diploma in Photography and Visual Art from the Begart Institute.
