Hasina Momtaz has over 19 years of work experience in the field of communications and media relations. Hasina is currently serving as the Deputy Director of Media, Campaigns, and Public Engagement at ActionAid UK since February 2022. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of Communications at British Herald from November 2019 to July 2021. From July 2016 to March 2019, they held dual roles as the Head of Communications and Media Relations Manager at Islamic Relief UK. Hasina also worked as a Communications Business Partner at Transport for London from June 2012 to April 2014. Before that, they served as the Deputy Head of News and Media Relations at the Local Government Association from September 2011 to June 2012. Hasina's career began at the Mayor of London's office in April 2003, where they worked in media relations until September 2011.

Hasina Momtaz completed their CIPR Diploma at the Chartered Institute of Public Relations in 2007-2008. Hasina also pursued a BSc in Law, International Relations and Sociology at The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE).
