John Owen

John Owen is a seasoned professional in proposal writing and grant management, currently serving as a Senior Proposals and Grants Manager at ActionAid UK since May 2015. Prior to this role, John worked at the British Red Cross as an Institutional Funding UK Grants Co-ordinator from April 2012 to May 2015, managing a portfolio of grants totaling over £6 million. John also has experience as a Research Grants Administrator at Queen Mary University of London, overseeing more than 160 externally funded medical research grants. John holds a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Law and Legal Studies and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Philosophy, both from the University of Liverpool.
