John McBrayne

John McBrayne has extensive experience in product management and development in the telecommunications industry. John started their career at Nortel Networks as a Succession VoIP Architect and Senior Software Engineer. John then worked at Caspian Networks as a Senior Product Manager. After that, they joined Ditech Networks as the Director of Product Management, where they focused on DSP-based signal processing solutions for speech quality enhancement in VoIP and mobile networks. In 2010, they became the Head of Product Management at Actiontec Electronics, where they led the development and delivery of WiFi Gateways and Extenders, as well as a cloud-based IoT solution for Managed WiFi Services. John also developed applications for advanced services such as Parental Control, Security, and Analytics to improve customer satisfaction and increase revenues.

John McBrayne earned a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics / Computer Science from the University of Waterloo, where they studied from 1979 to 1984. In 2004, they attended the Stanford University Graduate School of Business for an International Executive Education program focused on Strategic Marketing Management. In 2007, John participated in the Center for Executive Education - Product Management Program at the University of California, Berkeley.
