Gulamally Husain

Gulamaly Hussain is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in investor relations and corporate business development. Currently serving as Principal in the Investor Development Group at Actis since July 2019, Gulamaly previously held a similar role at The Abraaj Group from January 2006 to January 2023, focusing on fundraising and investor engagement in the GCC region. Prior experience includes roles as Risk Officer and Dealer at GLOBAL CAPITAL PARTNERS FZ-LLC, Assistant Director and Head of the Derivatives Desk at Gupta Equities Pvt. Ltd., and as Senior Executive at Jardine Fleming Group, where significant contributions were made to financial reporting and client relationships. Gulamaly's career began at the National Bank of Dubai as a Customer Service Officer. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Sydenham College, complemented by a foundational education at Campion School in Mumbai.
