Jim Houskeeper

Jim Houskeeper has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Jim is currently working at Activ Surgical and ActivSurgical since 2020, holding the roles of Principal Software Engineer and Staff Software Engineer respectively. Prior to that, they worked at Canon Medical Systems USA, Inc. from 2018 to 2020 as a Principal Software Engineer and briefly as a Sr. Software Engineer. From 2017 to 2018, they served as a Software Engineer at Riptide Autonomous Solutions. Jim also has experience as a Principle Engineer at NinePoint Medical from 2011 to 2018 and as the Director of Software Engineering at InfraReDx from 2009 to 2011. Before that, they co-founded Next Gen Labs in 2007, where they aimed to inspire children's interest in technology. Jim started their career as the CTO at BTMD Inc. in 1997, where they worked for a decade.

Jim Houskeeper attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1979 to 1983, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME). Additionally, they pursued a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BS) at the same institution, although the start and end years for this degree are not provided.
