Linda Elam

Linda Elam is currently an advisor at Activate Care. Linda has previous experience working at the National Institute on Aging (NIA) IMPACT Collaboratory, Altarum, the Institute for Healthcare Policy and Innovation, and Activate Care. Linda also served as the CEO of the District of Columbia Health Plan at Amerigroup from June 2017 to May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation for Disability, Aging and LTC Policy at the US Department of Health and Human Services/ASPE from March 2014 to January 2017. Linda is also a professorial lecturer in health policy at The George Washington University- Milken Institute School of Public Health.

Linda Elam holds a PhD in Health Policy and Management from The Johns Hopkins University, an MPH in Health Policy and Administration from University of California, Berkeley, and a BS in Liberal Arts from Howard University.
