Tom Biggins

CEO at Atlantis Technology

Tom Biggins is the CEO of Atlantis Technology. Tom was previously employed at The Boston Globe from January 1986 to December 1992, where they worked as a paperboy.

During their time as a paperboy, Tom learned the value of work, reliability, and routine. Tom also gained a great perspective on the rhythms of New England news and journalism in the late-80s. Some of the things they learned about during this time include Dukakis, Shaughnessy, Bird, Gammons, Boggs, McDonough, Black Monday, Barnicle, Flynn, Montville, The Big Dig, and Ryan.

Tom's dad taught him how to sell new Globe subscriptions by taping him on the camcorder while they tried to sell a full 7-day subscription to their mom (playing the role of a new potential customer). Tom was rewarded with commissions in the form of tickets to Fenway Park for every successful sale. One of their customers, Bob Mattioli, is still a customer of Atlantis Technology today.

Tom Biggins has a BA in Economics from Amherst College and attended Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School.

Ron Ayers - SVP, Product, Jack Collier - CTO, and Fred Distefano - COO report to Tom Biggins.
