Nicole Systrom

Nicole Systrom is a board member at Activate. Nicole was previously the VP for Development and Strategic Projects at Cyclotron Road & Activation Energy, where they were responsible for producing original research and white papers on the state of the hard technology innovation ecosystem, and driving philanthropic and alternative capital financing for Activation Energy operations and Cyclotron Road program participants. Prior to that, they were an intern at Enphase Energy, where they researched the Energy Service Company (ESCO) and energy efficiency sector through interviews with industry stakeholders to analyze the business opportunity for Enphase, integrated analysis of public solar installation data and internal CRM database to inform sales strategy and generate customer target lists for channel and solar finance partner programs, developed sales tools for use in the field including marketing presentations and a residential solar lease vs. loan cash flow model, and collaborated with cross-functional team on the launch of a deal registration website for solar installers to increase demand visibility and market share in commercial solar installations.

Nicole Systrom graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Earth Systems and then went on to earn their MBA/MS E-IPER from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Nicole also has a certification from HeySue.com in Coaching for Business Leaders.
