Sharon Fitzsimmons

Sharon Fitzsimmons has several years of work experience in various medical leadership roles. Sharon worked as a Medical Director at ActiveHealth Management from 2013, where they provided medical leadership in population health management and served as a subject matter expert for wellness programs. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Medical Director at Humana from 2011 to 2013. Sharon also served as a medical director at Southern Health/Coventry from 2007 to 2010. Sharon started their career as a Medical Consultant at REACH in 2005, where they were involved in various projects including the creation of a community-wide healthcare program and the establishment of administrative procedures.

Sharon Fitzsimmons obtained their Bachelor's degree from an undisclosed institution in an undisclosed field of study. In 1988, they completed their medical degree at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. Sharon also earned the certification "FAAP" from the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) in December 1988. Later, from 2011 to 2016, Sharon attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree with a specialization in Public Health. Sharon acquired the specific MPH certification from the UMass Amherst School of Public Health & Health Sciences in May 2016.
