Joel Schaumburg has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Beginning in 2010, they worked as a Multi-Media Journalist at WREX TV. From there, they transitioned into the role of Recruit Presentation Specialist at Navy Federal Credit Union, where they gave sales and marketing presentations to recruits and assisted in creating new member accounts.

In 2013, Joel became a Digital Advisor at L2T Media, followed by a position as a Senior Account Executive at Rise Interactive in 2015. During this time, they honed their skills in digital marketing and account management.

Joel then moved to Reverb as a Paid Search Specialist, creating and managing paid search and paid social campaigns to drive purchases. Joel worked closely with the creative team to shape campaign direction.

In 2020, Joel joined GroupeConnect - a Publicis Groupe Solution, as a Paid Search Manager. Joel oversaw multiple lines of business for a major financial sector client and achieved significant results through optimizations and strategic insights.

Currently, Joel works as a Digital Acquisition Manager at ActiveCampaign. Joel manages monthly budgets of over $1.2 million to drive lead volume, conversions, and revenue through various paid media channels. Joel collaborates with other teams to strategize paid media support for secondary campaigns and effectively communicates with remote employees across countries and time zones. Joel also engages in landing page testing and optimization.

Joel Schaumburg pursued their undergraduate education from 2006 to 2010 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Joel earned a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism during this time. Additionally, they obtained several certifications including "Marketing Foundations" from The Trade Desk in October 2022, "Google Analytics" in July 2016, and "AdWords Certified" from Google in August 2016.
