Roey Fizitzky has worked in various roles and companies throughout their career.
Roey started at Linux4biz Ltd. in 2011 as an R&D Android Software Developer and Security Researcher. During their time there, they focused on mobile security, developing a mobile data protection system and a virtualization tool for third-party applications. Roey also worked on developing security tools to prevent code abuse and protect organizational data. Roey left Linux4biz Ltd. in 2013.
After that, Fizitzky joined Motorola Solutions in 2013 and held multiple roles. Roey started as an R&D Android Internals-Connectivity team Tech Leader and Subject Matter Expert (SME). Roey had strong familiarity with Android internals and specialized in security, IMS protocols, and LTE protocols. Roey developed and implemented VoLTE and SMS over IP as part of the Android AOSP. Roey also developed an IMS client application. Roey later became an R&D Senior Cybersecurity Researcher and Software Architect Team Leader. Roey'stenure at Motorola Solutions ended in 2019.
Most recently, Fizitzky joined ActiveFence in 2019. Roey started as the Head of Mobile Security Research and later became the Head of Security Research. Currently, they hold the position of VP of Security Research. The exact end dates for their roles at ActiveFence are not provided.
Roey Fizitzky obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Communications Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, where they attended from 2007 to 2011.
