Sophie Ahrens-Gruber

Being part of investment team since 2022, Sophie brings the perfect mix of investment experience, data-driven research and intrapreneurial mindset to the table.

In her former roles at the multi-brand media house Burda, served on the board of various international companies. Since 2013, she has built and led Burda’s Corporate Business Development unit as well as introduced the company’s sustainability program. Prior to her corporate career, Sophie served as a teaching associate at LMU Munich, focusing her research on Decision Support Systems.

Sophie earned a PhD summa cum laude in Management and a Master of Business Research at LMU and Columbia Business School, plus an honors degree in Technology Management at CDTM Munich.
