Dan vander Plaats

Dan Vander Plaats, MNA, serves as the Vice President of Development at Acts 29 since January 2024, focusing on enhancing the organization's fundraising initiatives and engagement with supporters. Previously, from January 1997 to January 2024, Dan held multiple roles at Elim Christian Services, culminating as the Vice President of Advancement, Marketing, and Communications, where responsibilities included leading fundraising efforts and connecting donors to the organization's mission. Dan's career began at Unique Graphics as a Typesetter, and Dan possesses a Master of Public Administration in Nonprofit Management from North Park University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with a minor in Journalism from Calvin University. Additional education in Adaptive Leadership is ongoing at Calvin Theological Seminary.
