Karthik Balakrishnan

Karthik Balakrishnan is the Co-Founder and President of Actual, where Karthik focuses on building an Impact Platform to accelerate the world's response to climate change. Karthik is also a Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, an Angel Investor and Startup Advisor, and has experience as the Head of Project for Altiscope at A³ by Airbus. Karthik's background includes serving as the CTO and Co-Founder of Coin, Inc., as well as pursuing a Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics at Stanford University. Karthik has also worked at The Aerospace Corporation, NASA Ames Research Center, and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
