Marco Godoy

Marco Godoy has over 15 years of experience in the technology and entertainment industries. In 2006, they began their career as an Audio Engineer at Roundabout Ent. Inc. In 2008, they founded LatinSyncopation Entertainment, LLC. From 2010 to 2014, they served as the Founder of RUMBAVISION, a digital media production and engineering company for the entertainment industry. In 2014, they joined ImpreMedia as a Tech Lead/Senior Software Developer and Age of Learning, Inc./ABCmouse.com as a Software Developer. In 2015, they joined ACTV8me as VP of Engineering, later becoming Director of Engineering and Lead Software Engineer.

Marco Godoy has an extensive education history. Marco obtained a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universidad Simón Bolívar between 1999 and 2001. Marco then attended Berklee College of Music from 2003 to 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Music with a dual major in Music Production & Engineering and Contemporary Writing & Production. In 2015 and 2016, they attended UCLA Extension and obtained an Academic Certificate in Systems Analysis and a Java Especialization. Finally, they earned a Master of Science in Computer Software Engineering from California State University, Fullerton between 2016 and 2018. In addition, Godoy has obtained various certifications from Amazon Web Services including an AWS Certified SysOps Administrator - Associate (December 2018), an AWS Certified Developer - Associate (November 2018), and an AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (November 2018).
