Marian MAZAROVICI

Marian Mazarovici's work experience begins with their most recent position as the VP of Engineering at VONQ. In this role, they directed and oversaw engineering teams in building and launching three innovative products. Marian also founded VONQ Labs, the company's R&D arm focusing on HR technologies. Prior to this, Marian worked as a digital transformation consultant for VONQ on a contract basis.

Before joining VONQ, Marian served as the Chief Technology Officer at Evolve, a recruitment platform that prioritizes candidate reputation. Marian was responsible for connecting job seekers and employers based on shared values and ambitions.

Marian also worked at Cognism as a Lead Software Engineer, and at DHI Group, Inc. in various roles, including Software Engineering Manager, Co-founder/Lead Full Stack Developer, and Software Engineer in both Data Services and Data Platform departments. During their time at DHI Group, Inc., they led the development of a recruitment marketing platform, expanded business reach in APAC and DACH regions, and developed machine-learning-based technology for cost prediction.

Additionally, Marian has experience as the Founder and CEO of Salieri Studio, a company they bootstrapped to positive cash flow. Marian oversaw service offerings, established new business relationships, led development for strategic contracts, and managed key accounts.

Earlier in their career, Marian worked as a Software Developer at Infosys, where they developed a Java-based algorithm to enhance search engine capabilities. Marian also served as a Developer and Consultant at CFI Maintenance Informatique, managing software takeover and migration, providing consulting services, and offering remote support and on-site installation and training. Marian also worked as a Contract Web Developer at AFTER-MOUSE.COM and as a Co-founder/Software Developer at DVSI.

Marian's work experience began as a Freelance Web Developer, where they self-taught web development and gained customer-focused skills by serving over 20 customers and subcontracting for several web agencies.

Marian Mazarovici holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science with Intelligent Systems from King's College London. Additionally, Marian has obtained certification as a Zend Certified PHP Engineer from Zend Technologies in December 2015.
