Justin Fix

Justin Fix has a diverse work experience in the swine industry. Justin started their career as a Genetic Programs Specialist at the National Swine Registry in 2010 and later became the Director of Genetic and Technical Services. In 2012, they were promoted to Vice President of Global Technical Service before leaving the company in 2013. Justin then joined Smithfield Premium Genetics as the Director of Genetic Programs until 2018 when they transitioned to The Maschhoffs as the Director of Genetics. In 2020, Justin joined Acuity Swine as the Director of Business Development & Genetic Improvement, a role they held until 2023. Justin is currently working as the Director of Customer Success at AcuFast.

Justin Fix completed their Bachelor of Science in Ag. Business at Iowa State University from 2003 to 2005. Justin then pursued a Master of Science in Swine Breeding and Genetics at North Carolina State University from 2005 to 2007. Justin obtained their Ph.D. in Swine Breeding and Genetics from North Carolina State University from 2007 to 2010. Lastly, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business from 2016 to 2020.
