Craig Marquardt

Craig Marquardt is a seasoned professional in architectural lighting design with extensive experience spanning several decades. Currently serving as VP of Engineering at Acuity Brands Lighting since 2008, Craig has held various roles including Manager of New Product Development for Illumination and Innovation, and Lead Illumination Engineer. Prior to this, Craig was the Owner and Architect at C.E. Marquardt Lighting Design from 1994 to 2008, specializing in a wide range of projects from high-rise buildings to public art installations and recipient of multiple International Illumination Awards, including the prestigious Jumeau Trophy in 1994. Earlier in their career, Craig worked at Skidmore Owings & Merrill LLP from 1979 to 1993, contributing to architectural lighting and design projects in collaboration with notable modernist architects. Craig holds a degree in architecture.
