Ken Tran

Ken Tran, PhD, currently holds the position of Policy Researcher at Acumen, LLC, where employment began in May 2021, and has progressed through roles as Senior Policy Associate and Policy Associate. Prior to this, Ken served as Data Operations Lead at the Public Health Institute for a brief period in April to May 2021 and was an Adjunct Professor at the University of San Francisco in late 2020. Ken's research experience includes a role as Researcher at the Canadian Mental Health Association, Waterloo Wellington, from June 2018 to August 2020. Previous positions include Information System Analyst at FPT Software and Supervisor of Automated Sterilization at Applied Medical. Ken's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in Public Health from the University of Waterloo and multiple degrees (Master of Science in Bioengineering, Master of Business Administration) from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics/Biology from Western Washington University.
