Hans Taparia has spent most of his career as an entrepreneur and is now a Clinical Associate Professor at the New York University Stern School of Business, where he focuses on topics at the intersection of business and society and co-leads the university’s program on social entrepreneurship. Hans is also a co-founder of Desert Bloom, an investment vehicle that supports dynamic food companies working at the intersection of health, sustainability and access. Prior to that, he co-founded and led one of America’s leading health food brands, Tasty Bite, which was then sold to Mars, Inc. He was also a co-founder of a US and India-based management consulting firm and incubator, through which he co-founded Bangalore-based Tejas Networks which is publicly traded and is one of the world’s leading telecommunications equipment companies.
