Lynn Roland

Lynn Roland is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in both corporate law and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as General Counsel at Acumen Fund, Inc. since October 2010, Lynn oversees a global legal team focused on investments in social enterprises and entrepreneurs in developing countries. Previous experience includes a role as Legal Counsel at ForeSee Results, Inc., where responsibilities centered on contract preparation and negotiations related to web consulting and data privacy. Prior to that, Lynn was a partner at McDermott Will & Emery for over thirteen years, specializing in corporate transactional work including M&A, joint ventures, and various legal aspects of real estate and public investments. Lynn holds a JD from Columbia Law School and a BA in English from the University of Pennsylvania.
