Kristin Prentiss

Chief Financial Officer Kristin Prentiss holds responsibility for the financial management of AcuteCare Health System. Her duties include overseeing the financial and accounting operations of the hospital, including ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations, managing daily cash flow, billing and collections, and producing financial reports, annual forecasts, budgets and audit reports. She previously served as a regional chief financial officer at Acuity Healthcare Management, Charlotte, N.C., where she provided financial management services to a client base that included Specialty Hospital of Central Jersey. Prior to that, she was financial services manager for Carolinas Healthcare System in North Carolina, responsible for managing the financial operations of Mecklenburg County Public Health, and CMC-Randolph Behavioral Health Center, Charlotte.After earning her bachelor’s degree in finance from California State University, Fresno, Prentiss received an associate’s degree in accounting from Central Piedmont College in Charlotte, N.C.
