David Sachs

David Sachs serves as the Co-Chief Executive Officer at AcutePet Urgent Care, a national network of Veterinary Urgent Care Centers established in October 2023. Previously, David held the position of Group President at Compassion-First Pet Hospitals from June 2019 to August 2021 and served as Veterinarian, Medical Director, and Hospital Owner at Charleston Veterinary Referral Center from January 2011 to August 2021. Additional experience includes the role of Chief of Staff at BrightHeart Veterinary Network and Medical Director/Emergency Clinician at Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center. David began their career with an internship in Medicine, Surgery, and Emergency at the Veterinary Referral & Emergency Center - Norwalk. Academic qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from Syracuse University and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota.
