Kalyan Noorani

Kalyan Noorani has extensive work experience in the field of insurance, risk management, and engineering. Kalyan began their career in 1989 as a Senior Engineer at NOCIL (A Shell Company) and worked in this role until 1998. From 1998 to 2000, they served as an Engineer Surveyor and Lead Auditor at Lloyds Register. In 2000, they joined Allianz Reinsurance as a Senior Risk & Claims Manager. Kalyan then worked at Matthews Daniel Company from 2006 to 2010 in the role of Senior Loss Adjuster and Risk Engineering Manager for the Middle East region. Following this, they joined Royal & Sun Alliance as Senior Risk Consultant for Specialty Asia Middle East from 2010 to 2012. Since 2012, Kalyan has been working at ACWA Power International as the Vice President of Insurance & Risk.

Kalyan Noorani earned a Btech degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National Institute of Technology Warangal between 1985 and 1989. Following this, they obtained a FIRM degree in Corporate Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management London in 1996 and 1997. In 2002 and 2003, they completed their ACII degree in General Insurance from the Chartered Insurance Institute in London.
