Meftaur Rahman

Meftaur Rahman serves as the Country CEO of ACWA Power Indonesia since November 2023, overseeing business development and project execution, with a focus on renewable energy initiatives such as PV, floating PV, and hydrogen projects. Prior to this role, Meftaur worked as an Advisor at ASMA Capital Partners B.S.C.(c), managing EMA Power projects in Bangladesh and Pakistan, and developing renewable projects in the Middle East and South Asia. Experience includes advising on M&A opportunities at Actis, serving as COO of Zarou, and various leadership positions at The AES Corporation, where responsibilities encompassed managing power projects and maintaining government relations. Meftaur's career began at BOC Group Plc and Nestlé, and academic credentials include a BS in Chemical Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology and an Associate's degree in Business and Leadership from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business.
