Scott Frier

Scott Frier is an experienced executive in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as COO Renewables at ACWA Power since March 2015, with a focus on operations based in Dubai and China. Prior to this role, Scott was Chief Operating Officer at Abengoa Solar Inc. from February 2007 to December 2014, leading significant solar power developments across several U.S. states and international projects in Spain, UAE, and South Africa. Scott also held the position of Executive Vice President at Acciona Solar Power, promoting solar projects in the U.S. Southwest, and was Chief Operating Officer at KJC Operating Company, where Scott established a standalone operations and maintenance company for solar thermal power plants. Earlier in Scott's career, Scott served as General Manager at Luz Engineering Corporation.
