Kenza Drareni

User Experience Researcher at Ad Scientiam

Kenza Drareni has a diverse work experience in various industries. Kenza currently works as a User Experience Researcher at Ad Scientiam since March 2022. Prior to that, they were a Project Leader at Institut Paul Bocuse Research Center from February 2020 to April 2022. In this role, they contributed to defining a model of the effect of chemotherapy on patients' olfactory and gustatory perceptions and their eating behavior. Before that, Kenza was a PhD project leader in the same institute, focusing on the neuroscience of olfactory and gustatory perceptions and food behavior from January 2017 to January 2020. Kenza identified three main sensory profiles of patients undergoing chemotherapy.

Previously, Kenza worked as an R&D Engineer at IFTH from March 2016 to October 2016, where they were responsible for the textile sensory laboratory. Kenza conducted sensory analysis studies and managed client relationships. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Junior Research Assistant at Université de Franche-Comté in January and February 2015, and as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative at ALES GROUPE - LIERAC - PHYTO - CARON -DUCASTEL - PHYTOSPECIFIC in January and February 2014.

Kenza Drareni's education history begins in 2006 when they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Nutrition and Food Control from the Université des Sciences et de la Technologie 'Houari Boumediène'. Kenza then pursued a Master's degree in Neurobiology, focusing on Cellular and Functional Aspects, at the same university from 2009 to 2011. In 2015 and 2016, they attended Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, where they completed a Professional Master's degree in Physiology of Perception and Neuroscience. Finally, from 2017 to 2020, Kenza pursued a doctorate at the Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1, specializing in Neuroscience, Food Behavior, and Nutrition.
