Art Okarski has worked in the software engineering field since 1985. Art began their career as an Electronic Technician at LDJ Electronics. In 1991, they were promoted to Scientific Applications Programmer at LDJ Electronics, Inc. where they developed IBM PC platform based data acquisition and analysis software. From 1994 to 1996, they worked as a Senior Test Software Engineer at Ford Motor Company where they developed software applications for end of line engine control unit (ECU) testing. In 1996, they joined Advanced Assembly Group, GSE tech motive tool as a Senior Software Engineer where they developed Windows applications using Microsoft Visual C++, MFC, and COM to run on Microsoft Windows 95 and Windows NT platforms. Finally, in 1997, they were appointed as Software Supervisor/Engineer at A&D Technology.
Art Okarski obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Michigan-Dearborn between 1991 and 1994. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Science (A.S.) in Computer and Information Sciences, General from Oakland Community College between 1986 and 1991.
