Micah Wierenga

Micah Wierenga has worked in a variety of roles since 1998. Theirearliest work experience was as a Web Manager and Curriculum Developer at Summit in 1998. Micah then worked as a Web Content Editor at Focus Institute in 2005, followed by Senior Project Manager at Biblica in 2006. In 2014, they became a Web Content Editor and Project Manager at Ferrari Films. In 2017, they worked as a Back End Web Developer at booj. Since 2016, they have been at General Assembly where they have held roles as Lead Instructor, SEI Local Lead Instructor, Teaching Assistant, and Full Stack Web Developer. Currently, they are a Full Stack Engineer at AdAction, where they contribute to multiple platforms using Git, VueJS, Vuetify, Vuex, Typescript, PHP/Laravel, Java/Spring, PostgreSQL, SendGrid, AWS, and Jenkins. Micah also writes documentation and creates/maintains testing harnesses to promote greater team productivity.

Micah Wierenga attended General Assembly from 2016 to 2017 for Web Development. Micah also attended Southeastern College, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts - BA in Pre-seminary. Additionally, they obtained a Web Development Immersive certification from General Assembly.
