Carolyn Duran has a diverse work experience spanning various fields. Carolyn currently works at AdAdapted as a UX/UI Engineer, where they collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements for new features and manages a team of designers. Prior to this, they interned at the University of Michigan - School of Information as a UX Design Intern / Research Assistant, conducting research and developing tools to improve political discussions on Reddit. Carolyn was also a UX/UI Design Intern at Comcast NBCUniversal, participating in their virtual development experience program. Previously, Carolyn worked as a Gymnastics Instructor at the Greater Philadelphia YMCA and Camp Woodward. Carolyn also gained experience as a Marketing Intern at Gravic, Inc., where they worked on improving websites and building new ones.
Carolyn Duran has a strong educational background with a focus on information science and user experience design. From 2017 to 2021, they attended the University of Michigan - School of Information, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree as an Angell Scholar, with a GPA of 3.87 out of 4.00.
