Garrett O'Keefe

Garrett O'Keefe has a diverse professional background, having worked for both Adafruit Industries and ABC News. From 2015 to present, O'Keefe served as Chief Operating Officer and Director of Operations at Adafruit Industries. In this role, they independently developed and implemented labor management policies, increased interdepartmental communication, and increased occupancy from 90% to 95% with total projected savings of $1M. Additionally, O'Keefe designed and built an internal Maintenance Repair Operations (MRO) tracking tool to monitor department expenses and inventory. From 2010 to 2015, O'Keefe worked as a Digital Media Archive Assistant at ABC News, where they converted video formats of Beta, Umatic, and XDcam into digital media for preservation of ABC Network's air history archive. Garrett also worked with, diagnosed, and problem solved various technical issues of analog equipment, digital media, Avid Newscutter, and MARS preservation software.

Garrett O'Keefe attended Portland Community College from 2006 to 2007, taking advanced courses in ceramics and photography. Garrett then attended Mount Hood Community College from 2007 to 2008, majoring in Video Production.
