Andrew is Founder and Managing Partner of Adam Street Advisers. Andrew has over 20 years’ experience establishing and running professional advisory businesses, originating and executing transactions and investing in private companies. As an entrepreneur and professional adviser Andrew’s strength and passion is working with fellow entrepreneurs, business owners and management teams on innovative solutions to complex situations.
His experience covers a wide range of client engagements from raising capital for growth, selling businesses, advising management teams in secondary buy-outs, MBOs / MBIs, cashing-out shareholder value, arranging bank and debt fund finance, and providing strategic acquisition advice.
Andrew started Adam Street Advisers (formerly Nexus Corporate Finance) in 2008 and prior to Adam Street, he was the founding partner of Acanthus Advisers. Before Acanthus he worked at two investment banks (Lloyds and Investec). He was also a founding member of Re/max of Southern Africa, now Southern Africa’s largest real estate company and part of the largest real estate group in the world. He holds an MBA from Cardiff Business School, is a parent elected governor of a primary school and an investor in and non-executive director of several companies.
