Bruce Spierer

Bruce Spierer is an experienced professional with a background in program management, sustainability, and environmental education. Bruce is currently working as a Program Manager in Climate Action at Adamah, a position they started in November 2020. Prior to this, Bruce was a Marla Bennett Scholar at the Pardes Institute of Jewish Studies from September 2019 to May 2020, where they studied and interpreted complex Jewish texts in multiple languages and applied their ideas to contemporary sustainability and spirituality challenges.

From 2016 to 2019, Bruce worked at the Battery Park City Authority as a Horticulturist specializing in soils and organics. Bruce also led a project to create a dog waste composting system, collaborating with various stakeholders to implement the project plan.
