Eve Wachhaus

Chief Operating Officer at Adamah

Eve Wachhaus has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Eve currently holds the role of Deputy Director (now COO) at Pearlstone Retreat Center & Event Campus, where they work towards igniting Jewish passion and facilitating vibrant Jewish life through retreats, programs, and farm activities. In 2021, they became the Chief Operating Officer at Hazon.

Prior to these positions, Eve worked as a Food Blogger/Influencer at dowhatemasays.com in 2018. Eve also worked as a Consultant from 2019 to 2021, providing their expertise in various projects.

In the public sector, Eve served as an Election Judge Trainer for the City of Baltimore BOARD OF ELECTIONS in 2018, where they trained adult learners on precinct operations and legal compliance.

In the non-profit sector, they held the role of Director Of Donor Relations at the American Visionary Art Museum in 2017. Before that, they worked with Habitat for Humanity International and Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Harrisburg Area, serving as a ReStore Nation Consultant, Certified ReStore University Trainer, and eventually as the Executive Director of the latter organization.

Eve also has previous experience in the hospitality industry, working as a Project Manager/Internal Consultant/Restaurant Manager at Hershey Entertainment & Resorts Company from 1999 to 2006. Prior to that, they worked as a Catering Sales Manager at Hyatt Regency Baltimore in 1998.

Throughout their career, Eve has demonstrated expertise in areas such as leadership, training, public speaking, marketing, and project management.

Eve Wachhaus completed their secondary education at Brookline High School from 1984 to 1988. Eve subsequently attended The Johns Hopkins University from 1988 to 1992, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Cultural Anthropology.
