Daniel Thorpe has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Daniel started their career as a REU Intern at Wadsworth Center in 2010. From 2011 to 2012, they worked as a Researcher at the Nanomaterials and Imaging Lab at the College of William & Mary Applied Science. In 2011, they also served as an iGEM Team Bioinformaticist at Virginia Bioinformatics Institute.

From 2015 to 2017, Thorpe worked as a Research Fellow at Harvard University School of Engineering and Applied Science, where they focused on developing a HarvardX MOOC on energy and environment, as well as conducting research on the land use impact of renewables and energy efficiency.

In 2017, Thorpe joined Adams Clinical, initially working as a Clinical Research Coordinator before being promoted to Clinical Research Coordinator II. In 2019, they took on the role of CRC & Digital Marketing Manager, where they split their time between clinical research coordination for mood disorder clinical trials and managing digital marketing activities, including ad design, landing pages, CRM integration, and performance analysis. Daniel then transitioned to the role of Associate Director, Data & Analytics in 2020 and is currently serving as the Chief Revenue Officer, a position they have held since 2023.

Daniel Thorpe earned a Master's Degree in Environmental Engineering Technology/Environmental Technology from Harvard University from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their undergraduate studies at William & Mary, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree, majoring in Biology and minoring in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Applied Science from 2008 to 2012. Daniel attended Maggie L. Walker Governor's School for Government and International Studies from 2004 to 2008, although no degree or field of study information is available for this institution.
