Michelle Bonner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Starting in 2005, they worked as an Anchor/Host at ESPN until 2012. During this time, they gained experience in broadcast journalism. In 2012, they joined Quinnipiac University as an Instructor, where they focused on writing for broadcast news.
In 2013, Bonner became a Public and Media Relations Specialist at Image Marketing Consultants, where they provided advisement on public and media relations, composed press releases, and managed media relations and requests. Michelle also served as a spokesperson for the company.
From 2012 to 2017, they ran their own consulting business, the Bonner Consulting Group, where they worked with local small businesses on marketing and communication objectives, with a focus on crisis management and maintaining organizational reputation.
Bonner also worked as a Freelance Writer for US Lacrosse Magazine and USA Hockey Magazine. In these roles, they contributed articles on sports-related topics.
In 2015, they began working as a Freelance Writer for We-Ha.com, covering various local stories.
From 2017 to 2022, they served as the Director of Marketing and Public Relations at the Mandell JCC of Greater Hartford. In this role, they managed marketing and media relations initiatives for the organization and its programs, including a competitive summer program and large-scale events.
Since 2010, they have been an Adjunct Professor at the University of Hartford, where they designed course curricula for Advanced Broadcast and Electronic Journalism and implemented projects for students to gain real-life experience.
In 2022, Bonner joined Adams & Knight as the Director of Public Relations, specializing in travel and tourism, healthcare, financial services, and education.
