James Korczak

Jim focuses on the Adams Street US small market buyout fund portfolio and is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key buyout and growth capital general partners throughout the United States. He manages relationships with several of Adams Street’s managers including Accel-KKR, Clearview Capital, Energy & Minerals Group, Housatonic Equity Partners, Mainsail Partners, RoundTable Healthcare Partners, and Serent Capital.

Prior to joining the firm, Jim was a senior consultant in the Industry Consolidation and Strategic Transaction Group within Ernst & Young, providing audit and advisory services to private equity portfolio companies.

He sits on advisory boards for nine private equity firms within the Adams Street Partners portfolio and is a member of Adams Street’s Primary Investment Committee. Jim is also a member of the Chicago Association of Private Equity Executives and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
