Leland Richards

Leland supports all aspects of the decision-making process of the Private Credit Team, including sourcing, structuring, performing due diligence, and negotiating investment opportunities.

Prior to joining Adams Street, he was a Managing Director at Churchill Asset Management. In this role, he was responsible for financial sponsor origination and underwriting. Prior to Churchill Asset Management, he was Managing Director at GE Capital where he served in a similar capacity covering financial sponsors and originating leveraged loans and mezzanine/2nd Lien financing for financial sponsors backed non-investment grade companies.

Leland previously worked at CIT as a Director on CIT’s Healthcare Finance Team. He also held Vice President positions at Merrill Lynch & Co., GE Capital, and Salomon Smith Barney (Citigroup). He commenced his career at J.P Morgan Securities and CIBC World Markets.
