Troy Barnett

Troy Barnett is a partner at Adams Street Partners, a leading global private markets investment firm. Troy focuses on secondary investments, which involve the purchase of interests in private companies from existing investors.

Prior to joining Adams Street in 2004, Troy was an associate at Northwestern Mutual Investment Management Company. Troy began their career as an analyst at William Blair & Company, where they worked for three years.

Troy received their MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2002. Troy also holds a BA from the University of Michigan.

Troy Barnett earned their B.S. in Economics and Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Troy then went on to earn their Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and General from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Barnett is also a CFA Charterholder, having earned their certification from the CFA Institute.
