William Sacher

William Sacher is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in private credit and high-yield investments. Currently serving as Partner and Head of Private Credit at Adams Street Partners since December 2015, Sacher previously held prominent roles at leading financial institutions, including Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of Mezzanine Finance at Oaktree Capital Management from January 2001 to September 2014, and Managing Director, Co-Head of Leverage Finance at J.P. Morgan from July 1998 to December 2000. Earlier career highlights include Managing Director positions at NationsBank overseeing high yield and at Bear Stearns focusing on high yield from 1986 to 1995. Sacher holds an MBA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business, earned between 1984 and 1986, and a BS in Finance from the same institution, completed in 1984.
