Jigar Thakkar

Jigar Thakkar is a seasoned professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Senior Vice President at Adani Green Energy Ltd. since September 2021, overseeing the Operations and Maintenance of over 11 GW of renewable assets, including solar and wind projects. Previously, Jigar held the position of Vice President of Asset Management at Adani Transmission Ltd., where responsibilities included project execution and asset management from June 2010 to August 2021. Early in the career, Jigar worked as a Power System Analyst at L&T-S&L Ltd. and as an Electrical Engineer at Jyoti Ltd. Jigar holds a Master of Technology in Power Systems from M. S. University, earned between 2001 and 2002, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical from the same institution from 1997 to 2001. Additional educational background includes studies at GEB and IPCL.
