Mert Mete Lakerta

Mert Mete Lakerta has over 20 years of experience in various leadership roles in the automotive industry. Mert Mete is currently employed at adapa Group as the Head of Group Quality, R&D, and Sustainability. Prior to this, they held positions at Aptiv as a Regional Operations Director and at Yazaki Corporation, where they served as the Operations Director for the Mercedes Benz Passenger Cars BU. Mert has also worked in managerial and quality control roles at Yazaki Organization Turkey and Yazaki Ukrain Ltd Ukrain. Mert Mete started their career as a staj at Çoşkunöz. Mert has a strong background in operations, quality control, and project management.

Mert Mete Lakerta has a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Uludag University, which was obtained from 1995 to 2000. Mert Mete also has a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Mechanical Engineering and a Master of Arts in Business Administration (MBA) from Uludag University, both completed from 2001 to 2005. In 2013, they attended IMD for Business Administration and Management. Mert Mete has additional certifications in various areas, including project management, quality management systems, occupational health and safety, and English language proficiency.
