Sean Johnston

Sean Johnston has been working in the software engineering industry since 1992. Their first job was at Barclays, where they worked as a Senior Developer responsible for the design, implementation and testing of the back end order processing system for the BPIM portfolio management system. In 1996, they took on a contract role as a Developer at Robert Fleming, where they worked on maintenance and enhancement of Ingres/ABF systems for trading systems. Sean then took on a contract role as a Tester at Aerosystems Intl. in 1997, followed by several short term contracts as a Developer with various organisations in 1998. In 1999, they joined LogicaCMG as a Senior Developer, followed by a role as a Senior Developer at Xenicom in 2003. In 2005, they moved to Andrew Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, where they were responsible for design decisions, training of outsourcing team, product improvements and ongoing maintenance. In 2007, they joined SmartStream Technologies as a Senior Software Engineer, and in 2013 they joined Edge Intelligence Software, Inc. as a Senior Engineer. Sean currently works as a Senior Software Engineer at ADAPDIX.

Sean Johnston attended the Whitgift School in South Croydon from 1981 to 1987. Sean then attended King Edward VI Grammar in Chelmsford from 1987 to 1989. Finally, they completed a BSc (Ord.) in Computer Science at the University of Bristol from 1989 to 1992.
