Avi Avigdor

Avi Avigdor, Ph.D., currently serves as the Director of Psychology at ADAPT Community Network, a position held since May 2015, where responsibilities include conducting assessments, collaborating on counseling sessions, chairing the Human Rights Committee, reviewing behavior plans, and providing in-service staff training on positive behavior approaches. Prior to this role, Avi worked as a Licensed Psychologist at FEGS from April 2013 to May 2015, providing clinical support to adults with developmental disabilities and chairing the Human Rights Committee. Experience also encompasses a role as a Behavior Intervention Specialist at PSCH from February 2012 to April 2013, administering and interpreting various assessments, and as HR Manager at Therapy for Kids from April 2010 to October 2012, focusing on hiring and operational management. Avi holds a PhD in Consulting Psychology from Alliant International University and a BA in Psychology and Economics from Queens College.
