Phong T. Dinh

Phong T. Dinh is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in intellectual property and patent law. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for Patents at Microsoft since February 2018, Phong leads a patent team supporting the Cloud and AI divisions, focusing on patent portfolio development, IP counseling, and managing Standard Essential Patent strategies. As a Co-Founder and Board Member of ADAPT.legal, Phong advocates for diversity, equity, and inclusion in the IP field through accessible programs and mentorship initiatives. Previously, Phong was a Senior Associate at Goodwin Procter LLP, representing clients in patent litigation and appeals. Educational credentials include a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Economics from the University of Virginia.
