Jaimin B. Shah

Jaimin B. Shah has extensive experience in the legal field. Jaimin B. started their career as a Law Clerk at Azrael Gann + Franz, LLP in 2006. Jaimin B. then worked as a Legal Intern at T. Rowe Price in 2007. In the same year, they also served as a Board Fellow at Biodiesel University and as an MBA Associate at New Markets Growth Fund. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as an MBA Mentor Liaison at Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship.

Shah joined RatnerPrestia as a Summer Associate from May 2008 to August 2008. Jaimin B. then became an Associate Attorney at the same firm from March 2009 to November 2011. From November 2011 to January 2013, they worked as an I.P. Counsel at Unilife Corporation. Jaimin B. later held positions as Senior Counsel (January 2013 to June 2014), Associate General Counsel (June 2014 to March 2016), and VP and Associate General Counsel (March 2016 to July 2016) at Unilife Corporation.

In 2016, Shah joined SiO2 Medical Products as the Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Jaimin B. stayed with the company until March 2019 when they transitioned to their role at Adaptimmune. At Adaptimmune, they initially served as the Deputy General Counsel from April 2019 to March 2023. Currently, they hold the position of VP Deputy General Counsel at the same company.

Throughout their career, Jaimin B. Shah has demonstrated their expertise and commitment to the legal field, particularly in the areas of intellectual property and general counsel.

Jaimin B. Shah obtained a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, which they attended from 1997 to 2001. Jaimin B. then pursued a Juris Doctorate in Law at the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law from 2005 to 2008. Simultaneously, they also completed a Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Finance/Strategy at the University of Maryland - Robert H. Smith School of Business from 2006 to 2008.
